Ayse Altinok

Ayse Altinok is a Turkish-born artist and filmmaker whose unique work is characterized by emotional narratives and rich visuals. With an art school education and ten years of experience as an art director at Wieden + Kennedy in both Portland and Amsterdam, she brings depth and beauty to projects from short films to music videos to commercials.

Ayse’s first short film, “Hortum” was an official selection at The Cannes Film Festival Short Film Corner, and also screened over seven other film festivals around the world. Her second short film, “The Particulars” was also screened at Cannes, and won Best Drama and Best Actor at the Oregon Independent Film Festival. Her recent projects include “A Day At the Mall Reminds Me of America,” a short film created for MotionPoems; music video “Katie” for rap artist Beedy; and a Skype campaign via Bradley and Montgomery.
